Wired connection
If you have bought a wired version of the Deskjet 2720e, plug it to your computer. After the device
connects automatically, your PC will download the right drivers, and the
Deskjet 2720e will be ready for use right away.
- Access
the official website to download the latest driver and software.
- Open
the Start menu
- Click
on the Settings option
- When
the Devices tab opens, choose Printers & scanners
- Click
on Add a printer or scanner.
- Once
the Deskjet 2720e has located nearby printers, wait for it to select one
- Click
on Add device
- Use
the Remove option after you've highlighted the printer to get rid of it.
2) For
Mac system
Preparation
- To
prepare the Deskjet 2720e for installation, unpack it before adding ink or
toner along with paper.
- follow
the instructions that came with the device. Make sure there are no errors
displayed when you switch on the Deskjet 2720e.
Connecting to Wifi
You may need to use a USB cable to connect the Deskjet
2720e to your Mac in order to carry out Wi-Fi printing. Use the printer's setup
assistant to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network after connecting it to
your Mac. You may also install the Mac software that comes with the printer.
Once everything is configured, you can unplug the printer's cord from both the
Mac and printer, and the printer should stay linked to the wireless network.
How to add the Deskjet 2720e to list of available printers
- Open
the Apple menu
- Click
on System Settings
- Select
the Printers & Scanners tab in the sidebar
- The
Deskjet 2720e will become visible in the list on the left
- Select
the Deskjet 2720e and click on the Add tab
- The
appearance of the Deskjet 2720e may take a minute or two.
- Download
and install any new software that appears in a message.
- Open
the Add Printer, Scanner or Fax Button options visible on the right if the
Deskjet 2720e is not available in the list on the left.
- A
dialogue box with a listing of printers linked to your local network will
appear.
