Wired connection
Plug your Deskjet 2700 printer to your device if it is
wired. You can use it straight away after it connects automatically and your PC
downloads the necessary drivers.
Wireless connection
In order to connect a wireless version of
the Deskjet 2700, go to the official website, download the latest driver
and software package and implement the following steps.
a) Click
on the Start button before opening the Settings option. Then click on the
Devices tab and tap on Printers & scanners before going to Add a Printer or
Scanner.
b) After
allowing the Deskjet 2700 to locate nearby printers, select Add device and pick
the printer you want to use. Simply highlight and choose Remove if you want to
disconnect the device later.
Set up for Mac
1) Preparation
for installation
To unpack the Deskjet 2700, install the ink or toner, and
add paper, follow the instructions that came with the device. Ensure that the
device is not displaying any problems after turning it on.
2) Connect
the Deskjet 2700
In order to set up Wi-Fi printing, you may need to use a
USB cable to connect the Deskjet 2700 to your Mac. Install the Mac software
that was included with the Deskjet 2700 after connecting it to your Mac, then
use the printer's setup aid to link it to your Wi-Fi network. The device should
stay connected to the Wi-Fi network even after you unplug the cables from your
Mac and printer after setup.
3) Include
the Deskjet 2700 to list of available printers
Follow these steps:
- Choose
Apple menu
- Click
on System Settings
- Select
Printers & Scanners in the sidebar
- Select
the Deskjet 2700 after it appears in the list
- Click
on the Add button
- The
Deskjet 2700 might not show up for a minute or two. Make sure to download and
install any new software that appears on screen prompts.
- Proceed
to the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax choices on the right if the Deskjet 2700 is
not visible in the list. There will be a dialog box showing the local network
printers.
